Most AI tools send every question, document and piece of student data to a third party. For a college, a council or a defence supplier that is a safeguarding problem, a data protection problem and, increasingly, a procurement problem. EssingtonITS takes a different route: AI that runs on infrastructure you control, with every request logged, every model choice governed and every cost visible.

We do this in two ways. eLLM is our private AI platform, deployed on your own servers or in our UK data centres, giving staff and learners chat, document intelligence and coding assistance without data leaving your estate. Inside Moodle, our AI learning assistants and course tools bring the same capability into the platform your learners already use.

Both are built and supported in the UK by the team that runs your Moodle, Shibboleth and Linux infrastructure, so AI arrives as part of a managed service rather than another unmanaged subscription.
